Joshep has an extensive background in finance spanning over a decade, with a broad spectrum of experience in M&A, venture capital, and private equity.

At Gagasan Solar, Joshep advices on the strategic direction of the company and investor relations. He has been instrumental in establishing our initial capital pipeline by securing capital commitments and debt financing facilities from banking partners.

Prior to that, started his career in corporate finance across Singapore & Australia, where he was at KPMG and AngelCube. He was later brought onboard Sendang Energy to advise and assist on the restructuring of their solar asset portfolio. Before that, he also successfully co-established one of Malaysia’s first tech startup accelerators, Infinite Ventures.

Joshep’s expertise in solar asset development stems from over a decade of experience in financial restructuring, capital and debt advisory, particularly within the renewables sector (solar PV, biogas, biomass and hydropower), distressed real estate, and direct-to-consumer assets. His extensive finance background ensures that Gagasan Solar’s asset portfolio is efficiently allocated while maximising yield.

Joshep holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Management from the University of Melbourne.

DIRECTOR, BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Cassandra is a commercial operations specialist with over 9 years of extensive experience in establishing and scaling operations across diverse industries.

At Gagasan Solar, she leads commercial and business operations, overseeing solar investments (PPAs) and performance across the asset portfolio in line with our mandate. She also manages industry-wide EPCC partnerships and drives the firm’s commercial presence through strategic market engagement and collaborations.

Prior to that, Cassandra began her career at a performance management setup embedded within the Prime Minister’s Department (PEMANDU). She then transitioned into key operational roles, developing and establishing operational frameworks alongside strengthening governance within renewable energy and real estate.

With extensive cross-functional leadership experience operating companies, she ensures that Gagasan Solar runs seamlessly while delivering significant impact.

Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Swinburne University of Technology.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Ryan is Gagasan Solar’s business development specialist, with nearly a decade of extensive experience in infrastructure project management and stakeholder management.

At Gagasan Solar, he spearheads and manages business development efforts for our investment pipeline. He has been instrumental in expanding our reach through industry associations and developing our referral program. He also actively oversees project progress and asset management, ensuring quality for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar installations.

Prior to joining Gagasan Solar, Ryan began his career in infrastructure project management at two of Malaysia’s largest property developers, Sunway Group and Paramount Property Group. He successfully led notable projects to completion, including Sunway Velocity, Co-labs Coworking, and Dewakan.

His flair for business development stems from nearly a decade of experience collaborating with various stakeholders and aligning their business needs. His extensive project engagement experience ensures our investment pipeline is robustly developed, while maintaining project integrity and meeting the business needs of our C&I clients.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture from Swinburne University of Technology.
